Interview theme

What is the Interview theme for?

Interview makes it super easy to create a professional-looking interview videos by following a few simple steps.

How does Interview work?

Interview uses a different user interface than the other themes: instead of adding photos and videos in a timeline, Interview guides you through a series of steps to make a professional interview video. In each step we tell you exactly what you need to add, wether a logo, or a question or a video clip of the answer. When exporting your video, all your inputs will be automatically mixed together into a storyboard to produce a video that looks professionally edited.

Where are the multicam support, filters and add illustrative elements buttons?

Interview is currently in Beta stage, and the demo video for the Interview theme showcases features that are not yet implemented. Currently Interview does not support multiple cameras, or adding illustrative elements to a video clip, or applying filters on uploaded video clips. You can upload video clips, or record them with your webcam, then trim them easily, and add as many questions and answers as you want.

Why can't I change a video from another theme to the Interview theme?

Because the interface for Interview is built specifically to follow a storyboard for interview videos, it is not compatible with the other themes of the Studio.

What other cool things can I do with Interview?

In Interview you only need to upload a video clip once: this way if you upload the complete footage of an interview, you can reuse the uploaded file to trim it into individual questions
Once you are done filling the storyboard, click Preview & Export. You will be able to select one of two visual styles for the background, text and animations: Black or White. You will also be able to select a different background music or upload your own.
