Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this: we think adding this functionality would make Stupeflix more difficult to use. A workaround would be to use audio software on your computer to queue up two or more songs, one after another, in a single MP3 file, and using that file for your Stupeflix video. If you don't have sound editing software on your computer you can use Aviary Audio Editor right in your browser.
Stupeflix handles transparency - aka alpha channels - for images (PNG, GIF files) and FLV videos. If you insert in your movie an image that contains transparency, then your movie will show the background behind your image where there is transparency.
The trick here is to use Custom Transitions, which you'll find in the Add More... menu in the top-right corner of the editor. Place two transitions before and after the photo you want to isolate, and you're done. Fade to black transitions are the best ones to separate parts of a video. The same trick can be used to force photos to be shown in small groups of your choosing.
By default, a video will show all the elements you placed in the timeline (photos, videos, maps...) and then stop. So if you upload a song and add a photo, the video will only be 5 or 7 seconds long. To make the duration of the video match the duration of the music, you can set a custom duration for your photos and Text Slides. To do that, just double-click on the photo and set the duration. Remember: we tell you how long your video will be in the bottom of the screen (video project duration), so make sure this matches the duration of your song.
Finally, if you have many photos in your timeline and want to make your video shorter or longer, you can go to your Movie Settings (click the gear wheel) and change the overall pace of your video.
